These days people cruise for various reasons.
More and more liners appear every day, with similar kinds of people, similar shows and routines. Gala nights, casual nights, Captain’s night, newly weds' night, etc. It becomes more and more difficult to differentiate.

But, what if a liner introduces something that NOBODY EXPECTS?
A real “classy” act, with an education so masterly wrapped in light presentation, that people feel like elite connoisseurs of classical music. They take home CDs, they take official photos from the concerts, and they come back for more - to feel classy again.

• A pianist whose concert appearances more match the image of a ship/cruise than the austere image classical music is normally associated with:

MARINA IN A SHIP DRESS – AURORA (playing the Portuguese instrument, the Brikigno, after visiting Madeira)

• A pianist whose programme INTEGRATES EVERYTHING ON BOARD and who can use even the always present safety drill to launch into a “Escape from sinking ships” concert (with music by Chopin, Rachmaninoff and Prokofiev, who had gone abroad before their countries sunk into war).

• A pianist who GIVES MORE – and can SURPRISE her auditorium, by offering special plum brandy from her native Serbia for them to taste.

MARINA DRINKING WITH ANOTHER PASSENGER
(food and wine theme cruise)

• A pianist aware that those cruising also love to explore different countries and the cultures they visit – like hearing Chopin, or learning about memorable pieces and the composer’s turbulent life in Majorca for four months in 1839.
